Harry's Big Adventure is meant to educate children about bugs. We, at Terminix are looking for teachers who can show that their Harry's Big Adventure classroom learning has accomplished the following:
Increased knowledge
Your students should have a greater understanding of bugs and their purpose in the
ecosystem.
Encouraged open-mindedness
Students who were once afraid of bugs have developed an understanding of insects and an interest in their place in the world.
Sparked creativity
Your project allowed your students to be innovative and utilize problem-solving techniques.
Utilized budgetary constraints
You considered ideas and applications of the Harry's Big Adventure curriculum that were cost-effective for your school.
Timeliness
Students should be able to complete the work within a regular classroom period or two, depending on the estimated length of the project.
Results-oriented
Students can show their parents or friends the end-result of the project and educate others based on what they have learned.

Sure! Here are a few:
Magical Metamorphosis:
This is a lesson plan in which students will learn about the life stages insects go through to change from an egg to an adult insect. Utilizing information provided on the Harry's Big Adventure web site, teachers will lead students in a collaborative group activity and have each student complete individual Metamorphosis Cards for assessment.
Entomologist for a Day:
This two-part lesson allows students to become entomologists - or zoologists who study insects - for a day, focusing on the ladybug's habitat, diet, life cycle and behavior. Once again, detailed information is provided at www.harrysbigadventure.com by clicking on "Educator Center" and then "Lesson Plans."
