Bedbug

The bedbug is a tiny, wingless insect that feeds upon the blood of warm-blooded animals, including humans!

He was nearly wiped out of the United States about 60 years ago, but he’s making a comeback. The bedbug’s been popping up in homes, apartments, hotels, cruise ships, dormitories and shelters.

Contrary to what his name implies, the bedbug isn’t always found between the sheets. He prefers to live in mattresses, box springs, headboards, curtains, bedside furniture, even wall sockets!

Fascinating Facts
