Woody Strikes Out at the Redbirds

Spring is finally here! That winter we had seemed so long, I thought it would never get warm. But now the sun is shining and everyone is anxious to start moving around again, especially my friend Woody the termite. Since spring is his favorite season, Luckie the ladybug and I decided to take him to a Memphis Redbirds baseball game at AutoZone Park. Baseball is one of my favorite sports. I have played since I was a nymph!

We had a great time watching the Redbirds play, until Woody got hungry again. He tried to chew through anything he could get his jaws on! I bought him some barbecue nachos from Corky’s, and that seemed to keep him happy for a while, but no baseball bat was safe as long as Woody was in the park.
