Who Ever Thought These Pants Looked Good?

Harry Putts Around the Course

One great thing about living here at the Insectarium is that we’re close to all sorts of Audubon-related attractions. Every so often we like to get out and see what’s going on at the Aquarium or one of the parks.

So when Cuddles the scorpion invited me to hike on the golf course, I was excited. I got a pair of plaid pants for Christmas that I was pretty eager to show off. What better place to wear plaid than a golf course?

The trip started out great. Cuddles and I hiked up and down the fairways, checking out all the greens and landscaping features. Cuddles was especially fond of the sand bunkers. He said they felt like home.

Out of nowhere, we were under attack! A huge golf ball came out of nowhere and hit Cuddles. Lucky for him, he’s got a super tough exoskeleton. He wasn’t hurt at all, just surprised.

Then another ball landed just a few feet away with a loud THUD! Since I don’t have a thick scorpion exoskeleton, I got the heck out of there in a hurry. Once we were safely back at the Insectarium, Cuddles and I decided that golf is definitely not our sport.

Does anybody want a pair of plaid pants in size extra-extra small? I’m pretty sure I’m not going to need them anytime soon.
