Harry Loves School Supplies

I know it’s going to sound weird, but I love school supplies.

I haven’t gone to school in a few years, but that was always my favorite shopping trip. I still go out every August and buy new pencils, pens and crayons. I like to look at all the different folders and decide whether I want one with Wolverine on it or a big Star Trek logo.

I still use the same lunch box I’ve had since I was just a little bug. It’s got the original G.I. Joe on it. It’s way cool. Sometimes I pack a lunch and go for a walk outside, just so I can pretend I’m on a field trip.

The best thing about living at the Insectarium is that it’s a lot like school. I still wake up and get excited about learning something new every day. It’s even better when students from all over come to visit me here. It’s just like being back in class!

So those of you getting ready to go back to school, I hope you enjoy it while you can. Some kids like to pretend that learning isn’t fun so they can look cool, but that’s just silly. If it was up to me, I’d go to school everyday for the rest of my life.

Oh and if anybody needs a pencil, I’ve got about 20 of them in my backpack!
