Harry Gets His Annual Eye Exam

You know, I’ve always wanted to wear glasses. I think they might make me look smarter and more distinguished. I could slide them down to look at someone in the eye when I’m serious. Or I could chew on the arm when I’m deep in thought. I’d be the coolest if I could put them on after delivering a one-liner like that guy on CSI: Miami.

Actually, I have really good eyesight. I just had my annual eye exam and I’ve still got 20/10 bug vision. As much as I’d like to wear glasses sometimes, having good vision is really helpful for me.

For example, I can see movement up to 60 feet away. That’s really helpful when I’m sneaking past the Insectarium security guards to go on another adventure.

Maybe I can get some non-prescription glasses, since I like the way they look. What kind do you think I should get? Am I a horn-rimmed or frameless kind of mantis?
