I always wondered why Insectarium visitors sometimes had white wires coming out of their ears. It turns out they were all listening to mp3 players.

It’s been super-quiet at the Insectarium today. We haven’t had as many visitors as we normally do; it seems everybody is outside today because it’s Earth Day.

Have you ever watched American Idol? Normally I don’t like reality shows, but the program is really popular here in the Insectarium. Maybe that’s because the contestants are all so talented this year.

This year’s Easter was probably the best Easter I’ve ever had. Wanna know why? EGG GAMES!

Since college hoops had gotten tough for me to watch, I changed the channel. Guess what I saw? Golf.

Have you ever found a lucky penny? My friend Luckie the ladybug is always finding good luck charms like pennies and four-leaf clovers and horseshoes. Since she finds that stuff all the time, she was nice enough to give me the penny.

Did you know that they’re making a new Star Trek movie? I saw an ad for it during one of the NCAA tournament games and it looks really, really, really cool. But then again, I’m a total Trekkie.

You know, I’ve always wanted to wear glasses. I think they might make me look smarter and more distinguished. I could slide them down to look at someone in the eye when I’m serious. Or I could chew on the arm when I’m deep in thought.

I’m not ashamed to admit it. I’m a little scared of dinosaurs. You might think that’s silly, but you have to remember I’m not all that big—and dinosaurs were freaking HUGE.
