The best thing about living in the Insectarium is that you never know what you’re going to see each day. For example, a little while ago, I saw one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. I saw a fourth-grade teacher eat worms.

Well, I didn’t really crash a wedding. There was one right here at the Insectarium. Two of Lucky’s ladybug pals tied the knot here in a lovely ceremony last Saturday.

It’s almost impossible for me to choose my favorite thing about summer. It’s absolutely my favorite season. I love the sunshine, the smell of cut grass, cooking out in the backyard and watching baseball games.

If you could see my face now, you’d see the biggest smile. What caused it? No big surprise there—it was pizza.

I don’t like to admit it, but sometimes I’m a real scaredy-cat. I put on a brave face this weekend though because we had a pool party at the Insectarium, and I didn’t want to miss out on any fun.

Do you know what the coolest thing in the whole world is? Wolverine. He fights with the X-Men, he has super-cool hair, he has bones made of indestructible adamantium metal, he heals instantly and he has huge claws that come out of his hands.

Okay, so I didn’t really get to go to the Kentucky Derby this year. But I sure had fun watching it from here at the Insectarium.

I have to admit I’m little nervous about this whole swine flu epidemic. So far, I don’t think there have been any confirmed cases in New Orleans. I really hope it stays that way.

All of my friends know that I love music. One of the best things about living here in New Orleans is the wide variety of awesome live music you can find every night. Rock n’ roll, Blues, Zydeco, Jazz—we really have it all here.

I got some big news today. You’d never know it by looking at me, but I’m an uncle! Can you believe it?
