Have you ever done any babysitting? I did some recently for a friendly cockroach family here at the Insectarium. It’s a lot tougher than I thought it would be!

You think insects are interesting? Weirdly enough, we think you mammals are pretty interesting too. I thought I knew about every kind of non-insect, but this weekend I watched a weird old show called "In Search Of."

Don’t know what "tweaked a hammy" means? Don’t feel bad. I didn’t know either, until yesterday.

Step aside Maya Angelou and David Frost. There’s a new poetry master in the house! I recently joined a poetry club here at the Insectarium, and it’s really a lot more fun than I thought it would be.

Usually I’m not that great at taking tests. I study and study, but once I sit down with a #2 pencil and start filling in circles, I get too nervous. It’s like I forget everything as soon as I begin.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks following the loss of Michael Jackson. I think it was so shocking that even the bugs here at the Insectarium are still upset. If you didn’t know, most insects are huge fans of Michael’s work.

This is my second year to celebrate America’s independence at the Audubon Insectarium. Just like last year, I’m all about the three F’s: fireworks, freedom and FOOD!

Today was unbelievable. Cuddles, Esteban and I had a blast meeting all the Angelinos who came out to see us. We felt like celebrities with everyone crowding around to get a good look at us.

I’ve never really been a big fan of the magicians I see on TV. It just doesn’t look all that impressive when I’m sitting at home.
