I was listening to my iPod the other day and my hands started doing the strangest thing.

You know what hurts? Sunburns. I love to play outside as much as the next insect, but I always make sure to wear plenty of sunscreen. You should too.

August in Louisiana is H-O-T! Even hotter than it was back home in Tennessee!

I don’t know why I keep watching "The Wizard of Oz." Okay, I know that I watch it because it’s a great movie, but it always makes me a little sad.

I know it’s going to sound weird, but I love school supplies.

Lately I’ve been thinking that kids in pre-school have the right idea. There’s just something about the mid-afternoon that makes you want to take a nap. Not a long one, just a quick refreshing catnap for about 30 minutes or so.

The hardest part about planning a surprise party is not ruining the surprise. Just last week, all the bugs here at the Insectarium decided to plan a surprise shindig for Woody the Termite’s birthday.

Have you ever heard of yoga? I used to think it was something with fruit that people ate for breakfast. Turns out that’s actually yogurt. Which is totally different.
